This favorite model was brought back for modern times. It celebrates the 35th anniversary of G-SHOCK in 2018. The model is based on the “back to basics” theme. The DW-5900C is a simple digital watch from G-SHOCK’s early days. It has three new digital graphics not seen in regular LCD models. This watch was first released outside Japan and became popular worldwide. It later returned to Japan through reimporting. The original design is carefully recreated, including the text color on the dial. Besides basic stopwatch and timer features, it has useful functions like an EL backlight. This model revives the long-selling DW-6900 series, which also used three digital graphics.
